介绍（英）	This sampler features the figures of Adam and Eve, modestly covered with applied crocheted fig leaves. Adam and Eve samplers were popular in the Boston area during the first half of the eighteenth century. Most retain the long, narrow proportions commonly found in earlier English examples. Certain decorative motifs, such as the hexagonal band at the center of this sampler, are found only in Boston needlework of the eighteenth century.
