介绍（中）	大胆的几何羊毛帆布作品，被称为bargelo或火焰刺绣，是17世纪晚期和18世纪的一种重要刺绣风格。主要用于室内装潢和钱包等小型个人配件（例如2009.300.1782），在这双女士棘轮鞋上可以看到典型的锯齿形图案。值得注意的是，即使是鞋跟也覆盖着针线，因为使用对比鲜明的丝绸或皮革更为典型。鞋面中央的宽金属编织带是当时主要的装饰图案。另外值得注意的是，侧缝上有一条诱人的羽毛缝合胶带。
介绍（英）	Bold geometric wool canvas work, known as bargello or flame stitch, was an important embroidery style in the late 17th and 18th centuries. Used primarily for upholstery and small personal accessories such as purses (for example 2009.300.1782), it is seen here in a typical zigzag pattern on this pair of ladies' latchet shoes. It is notable that even the heel is covered with the needlework, as it is more typical to find a contrasting silk or leather used. The wide strip of metallic braid running up the center of the vamp was a predominant decorative motif at the time. Also of note is the attractive featherstitched tape over the side seam.
