介绍（中）	基督细长四肢的微妙造型，以及对他的头发和荆棘冠的精湛切割，都指向了一位技艺精湛的雕塑家的手。十字架臂末端精心制作的末端装饰物出现在许多来自意大利的象牙十字架上。十字架所在地的名字，各各他或加略山，意思是"头骨所在地"；描绘十字架下面地面的雕塑通常显示一个头骨，在这里丢失了。
介绍（英）	The subtle modeling of Christ's elongated limbs and the virtuoso undercutting of his hair and crown of thorns point to the hand of an accomplished sculptor. The elaborate terminal ornaments on the ends of the arms of the cross appear on a number of ivory crucifixions from Italy. The name of the site where the Crucifixion took place, Golgotha or Calvary, means "place of the skull"; sculptures depicting the ground below the cross often show a skull, here lost.
