介绍（中）	来自荷兰西北部弗里斯兰的样本主要以字母和生命树图案为特征。采样器还以穿孔和加冕的心形、棋盘、新娘和新郎为特色，这些图案也是荷兰其他地区采样器的典型图案。字母VM很可能是采样器制造商的首字母缩写。1667年、1692年、1697年和1698年的日期通常在树木、新娘和新郎的图像下方，也许是为了纪念家庭成员的出生或结婚。
介绍（英）	Samplers from Friesland, in the northwest of the Netherlands, are characterized chiefly by alphabets and tree of life motifs. The sampler also features pierced and crowned hearts, checkerboards, and brides and grooms- motifs typical of samplers from other regions of the Netherlands as well. The letters VM are most likely the initials of the sampler’s maker. The dates 1667, 1692, 1697, and 1698 usually below images of trees and brides and grooms, perhaps to commemorate the births or marriages of family members.
