介绍（英）	Obverse, kitharode (performer playing the kithara) Reverse, judge This vase is a counterpart to that of the Berlin Painter in its general shape, subject, and quality. The performer here is a mature, bearded man who seems to be advancing slowly. His mouth is closed, indicated that he is not singing as he plays. The Pan Painter revels in the detail of the instrument while at the same time showing the sweep of the long garment in perfectly controlled, economic lines.
