介绍（中）	天空中自由应用的、边缘粗糙的渐变色调层，以及为描述木材、瓷砖和树叶而设计的图案Cotman，都是这位艺术家1810年前后作品的特征。四年前，他从伦敦回到家乡诺里奇，建立了一所绘画学校，并开始制作这样的小作品供学生临摹。刻意简化的形式体现了这座由两部分组成的乡村建筑的特点，其灰泥和半木结构的墙壁，瓷砖和茅草屋顶坐落在树木前，俯瞰大海。
介绍（英）	The freely applied, rough-edged layers of graduated tone in the sky and the patterning Cotman devised to describe the timbers, tiles, and foliage are all characteristic of the artist’s work around 1810. Four years earlier he had returned from London to his hometown of Norwich, established a drawing school, and begun to make small works such as this for students to copy. Deliberately simplified forms characterize the two-part rustic building—with its plastered and half-timbered walls and tiled and thatched roofs—set before trees and overlooking the sea.
