介绍（中）	最初，这个镜盒的盖子很可能是一个三条腿的便携式食品容器（hokai）的盖子，供大名（封建领主）在游行中使用。精致的盖子上装饰着金色的maki-e（"泼洒的图画"），饰有家族徽章（由八根鹰羽毛组成的轮圈），周围环绕着优雅的牡丹卷轴图案。徽章属于井上家族的一个分支，三川省（今爱知县）的领主和德川幕府的亲密盟友。盖子后来被做成一个盒子，用来装一个大的镰仓酒镜子。
介绍（英）	Originally, the lid of this mirror box was most likely a cover for a three-legged, portable food container (hokai) used by a daimyo (feudal lord) during a procession. The finely executed lid with gold maki-e (“sprinkled picture”) decoration is embellished with a family crest (a whorl of eight hawk feathers) surrounded by an elegant peony scroll pattern. The crest belonged to a branch of the Inoue family, lords of Mikawa Province (present-day Aichi Prefecture) and close allies of the Tokugawa shoguns. The lid was later made into a box to hold a large Kamakuraperiod mirror.
