介绍（中）	据报道，来自德国西北部的里斯在哈勒姆学习，大约在1620年穿越安特卫普和巴黎前往意大利。在威尼斯工作一段时间后，他在罗马工作（约1622-25年），在那里他画的作品不拘一格，让人想起卡拉瓦乔的追随者，安尼巴莱·卡拉奇，鲁本斯以及其他意大利和荷兰艺术家。这幅诗意的图画是在提香的田园意象（大约同时激发了普桑的灵感）的影响下绘制的。与观众不同，一个路过的牧羊人发现了一个沉睡的若虫，它既有强烈的身体，又有天真青春的憧憬。
介绍（英）	Liss, from northwestern Germany, reportedly studied in Haarlem and about 1620 travelled through Antwerp and Paris to Italy. After a period in Venice he worked in Rome (ca. 1622-25), where he painted works eclectically reminiscent of Caravaggio’s followers, Annibale Carracci, Rubens, and other Italian and Netherlandish artists. This poetic picture was painted under the influence of Titian’s pastoral imagery (which inspired Poussin at about the same time). Not unlike the viewer, a passing shepherd has discovered a sleeping nymph who is at once intensely physical and a vision of innocent youth.
