介绍（中）	带翼耐克鞋在古典世界中常常被视为胜利的象征。在拜占庭时代，一些带翅膀的图像，如这里，保留了基督教之前与胜利和繁荣的联系，而另一些则被改造成了天使。这双耐克鞋有粉色、蓝色和绿色三种颜色，带有金色的亮点和皇冠，在格子图案上放着一碗水果（？），格子图案上有色彩鲜艳的鸟类和花朵，可能还有莲芽和花朵。Nikes和莲花都与尼罗河的丰富有关。五颜六色、风格化的叶子带顶部的环被用来将作品挂在墙上或柱子之间。
介绍（英）	Winged Nikes often appear as symbols of victory in the classical world. In the Byzantine era some winged images, as here, retained their pre-Christian association with victory and prosperity, while others were transformed into angels. Dressed in pink, blue, and green with golden highlights and crowns, this pair of Nikes holds a bowl of fruit (?) over a trellis pattern inhabited by vividly colored birds and flowers, possibly lotus buds and blossoms. Nikes and lotus flowers were both associated with the abundance of the Nile. The loops at the top over the band of multicolored, stylized leaves were used to hang the work on a wall or between columns.
