介绍（英）	The oblong shape and vertical orientation of this carved limestone post indicate that it served as the border for a larger architectural feature such as a door. The grapevine carved at center is an example of one of the most popular motifs used to frame doorways and arches in late antiquity. Here the vine emerges from a fluted chalice and winds upward with alternating clusters of grapes and large palm-like leaves. While the post's original use is unknown, the small cross carved into is base suggests a Christian context.
