介绍（英）	Although scenes from everyday life such as this one are quite rare in surviving drawings of the period, they often appear as details in contemporary paintings and manuscript illuminations from Northern Italy. The sheet, which may originally have belonged to a sketchbook, could represent the artist’s copy of a portion of a painting or manuscript. While the hatched shading on the contours and physiognomic type derive from Stefano da Verona, the drawing was probably made by a follower of the artist.
