介绍（中）	福音传道者伴随着他的象征鹰，展示了他福音书的开头文本。他的束腰外衣褶皱的深层分层为古典帷幔形式增添了活力和活力。上边框的粗略铭文，是早早添加的，翻译过来是："约翰的话像鹰一样翱翔天堂。这块牌匾曾经被认为是来自书籍封面，但现在有人认为，这块面板和另外三个代表福音书其他作者的面板形成了三联画的翅膀，两侧是中央面板上的基督形象。
介绍（英）	The Evangelist, accompanied by his symbol, the eagle, displays the opening text of his gospel. The deep layering of his tunic folds adds life and vigor to the Classical drapery forms. The roughly lettered inscription on the upper border, added at an early date, translates: "The word of John soars to heaven like an eagle." This plaque once was thought to be from a book cover, but it is now argued that this panel and three more, which represent the other authors of the Gospels, formed the wings of a triptych flanking an image of Christ in the central panel.
