介绍（中）	让·弗朗索瓦·阿曼德（Jean François Amand）是成功的历史画家让-巴蒂斯特·玛丽·皮埃尔（Jean-Baptiste Marie Pierre，1714-1789）的学生，他在准备参加1756年罗马大奖赛时对男性裸体进行了这项研究。他的获奖作品《参孙和黛利拉》（Samson and Delilah）今天现藏于美因茨州立博物馆（Landesmuseum Mainz）。在这幅画中，这个用绳子绑住参孙脚的人物被描绘成穿着衣服，戴着羽毛头盔。对Amand的归属最初是由Benjamin Peronnet提出的。
介绍（英）	Jean François Amand, a student of the successful history painter, Jean-Baptiste Marie Pierre (1714-1789) made this study of a male nude as he prepared his entry for the 1756 Prix-de-Rome competition. His winning submission, Samson and Delilah, is today in the Landesmuseum Mainz. In the painting, this figure, who ties Samson’s feet with rope, is depicted clothed and with a plumed helmet. The attribution to Amand was first suggested by Benjamin Peronnet.
