说明	The hand-drawn and dyed cloth is made of white cotton dyed with red pigments from the Indian madder (Rubia cordifolia) plant, and then adjusted by mordant (dye fixative) to make rich shades. It is interesting to note that the pattern of this cloth is unique in its expression of grasses and flowers and large birds, and features distinctive oriental styles, especially the pine tree in its nascent form, which is a rare subject in Southeast Asian painted and dyed cloth.
