介绍（中）	1400年左右，在西欧，划艇马刺的脖子长度开始增加，有些例子甚至在15世纪时延伸到骑手的脚。在这一时期，高高的战争马鞍和非常特殊的骑马风格，长马镫皮革和腿向前延伸，导致骑手的脚从马的侧面移开。因此，这些长脖子让他们更容易接近，而不必打扰骑手的位置。马刺除了是必要的马术工具外，也是骑士地位的象征之一，也是骑士在骑士生涯中赠送的物品之一。
介绍（英）	Around 1400, the length of the rowel spurs’ necks started to increase in western Europe, some examples extending even as long as the rider’s foot in the 15th century. At this period, the elevated war saddles and the very specific riding style, with long stirrup leathers and legs extended forward, had the consequence of taking away the rider’s feet from the horse’s flank. Thus, these long necks gave them easier access without having to disturb the rider’s position. As well as being necessary equestrian instruments, spurs were one of the symbols of knightly status, and were among the objects given to the knight during his knighting.
