介绍（中）	现在的图片描绘了土耳其军事巡逻队在士麦那（现在的伊兹密尔）巡逻，德坎普斯于1828年访问了那里。这是他的第一个主要东方主义主题的晚期变体，1831年在巴黎沙龙展出（现藏于伦敦华莱士收藏馆）。迪坎普是第一代在中东推广日常生活场景的法国画家这幅画一直属于大都会博物馆的第一任馆长约翰·泰勒·约翰斯顿，直到1876年被博物馆的第一位女性赞助人Catharine Lorillard Wolfe买下。
介绍（英）	The present picture depicts Turkish military patrols making their rounds at Smyrna—now Izmir—which Decamps visited in 1828. It is a late variant of his first major Orientalist subject, exhibited at the Paris Salon of 1831 (now in the Wallace Collection, London). Decamps belonged to the first generation of French painters to popularize scenes of everyday life set in the Middle East. This painting belonged to the Metropolitan Museum's first president, John Taylor Johnston, until 1876, when it was purchased by Catharine Lorillard Wolfe, the Museum's first woman benefactor.
