介绍（中）	王建的绘画体现了一个沉浸在传统中的人的视野。作为受过教育的精英阶层的一员，王可以接触到该地区众多的私人藏品，并继承了祖父王世贞（1526-1590）的丰富老大师收藏。这种对过去杰作的第一手了解启发了王效仿董其昌（1555-1636），通过勤奋研究"正统"模型来寻求个人艺术综合这张专辑是王建对传统的掌控的一次艺术展示。每一片叶子都让人想起了一位特定的过去大师，但每一片都提出了一个新的解决方案，通过较小的专辑格式以及王独特的笔触来改变模式。
介绍（英）	Wang Jian's paintings exemplify the vision of a man steeped in tradition. A member of the educated elite, Wang enjoyed access to the region's numerous private collections as well as inheriting a rich assemblage of old masters from his grandfather Wang Shizhen (1526–1590). This firsthand knowledge of past masterpieces inspired Wang to follow the example of Dong Qichang (1555–1636) in seeking a personal artistic synthesis through the diligent study of "orthodox" models. This album is a virtuoso display of Wang Jian's command over his tradition. Each leaf recalls a specific past master, yet each presents a new solution in which the model is transformed by the smaller, album format as well as by Wang's distinctive brush mannerisms.
