介绍（英）	The Master of Guillaume Lambert is one of three illuminators thought to have collaborated in a busy workshop headed by a scribe in late fifteenth-century Lyon. This page layout is typical of miniatures produced by the atelier: a central image surrounded on both sides by vertical piers containing sculpted figures of saints, with a horizontal band of large text running below. Although the original book of hours to which this leaf belonged is now dismembered, three other pages survive, indicating that it was a lavish production probably made on commission. The close-up, three-quarter-length depiction of the Virgin and child was widespread in French manuscript illumination of the period.
