介绍（中）	这个信箱的外部展示了两位贵族女士在阳台上读一封信，阳台周围是一个秋草花园。《古代与现代诗集》（Kokin wakash́，约905年）中的一首诗的前两句以镶嵌文字刻在盖子的外部，并在内部继续，之后读者可以完成这首诗：她今晚还在等我吗 -H.C.McCullough翻译场景和诗歌可能指的是源氏章节"宇治桥上的神圣公主"（Hashihime）。
介绍（英）	The exterior of this writing box shows two aristocratic ladies reading a letter on a veranda, surrounded by a garden of autumn grasses. The first two lines of a poem from the Collection of Poems Ancient and Modern (Kokin wakashū, ca. 905) are inscribed in inlaid characters on the lid’s exterior and continue on the interior, after which readers are left to complete the poem: Does she wait for me Again tonight, having spread But a single robe On her woven rush matting— The maiden at Uji Bridge? —Translation by H. C. McCullough The scene and the poem might refer to the Genji chapter “The Divine Princess at Uji Bridge” (Hashihime).
