介绍（中）	这个尼罗河粘土陶瓶的身体是鸟的形式。鸟的头和尾巴被折断了，它站立在四只小脚上。船体全身覆盖着红色涂层，边缘装饰有凹口和宽幅的白色油漆带，这些白色油漆水平延伸到船只的最宽部分。用粘土模制并涂在脖子两侧的两只鸟进一步强调了花盆的鸟状方面。动物形状的花瓶在埃及从前王朝开始的所有时期都很流行，无论是陶器还是石头。对我们来说异想天开的形式对古埃及人来说具有更深的象征意义。在贝尼哈桑的第一中间时期墓葬中发现了类似的鸟花瓶。
介绍（英）	The body of this pottery vase of Nile clay is in the form of a bird. The bird’s head and the tail have been broken off and it stands on four small feet. The body of the vessel is covered all over with a red coating and decorated with notches on the rim and wide bands of white paint which stretch horizontally across the widest part of the vessel. The birdlike aspect of the pot is further emphasized by two birds molded in clay and applied on each side of the neck . Vases in the shape of animals were popular in Egypt at all periods beginning in the Predynastic, both in pottery and stone. Forms that appear whimsical to us had a deeper symbolic meaning for the ancient Egyptians. Similar bird vases were found in the First Intermediate Period tombs at Beni Hasan.
